Ballot Measure or Birthday Present?

The housing bond ballot measure (RM-4) kickoff is on Wednesday, August 14! And it's even in the City of Santa Clara too!

That also happens to be my birthday and because I am of the belief that everything that happens on that day is inherently about me, I'm choosing to believe that this is partially a birthday party and you're all invited. In fact, coming to the event would be a great birthday present.

RM-4, also known as the BAHFA Regional Housing Bond Ballot Measure, has been in the works for a long time and will be on ballots in 9 Bay Area counties in November, including ours.

Santa Clara Housing Advocates Leadership Team voted to support RM4 as one of our top priorities for this phase of action. Local organizations are running an organized campaign across Santa Clara County, and will be organizing all kinds of typical campaign actions - events, door knocking, phone banking, etc. SCHA highly encourages you all to support and participate.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday for my birthday (and also RM-4)!
